IT Specifics 3 tier architecture
Capone Banking Collection System is developed using proven technologies and architecture for enterprise solution. We are using a 3 tier architecture with Oracle Database server, any J2EE compliant server for the middle tier (Oracle Application Server, IBM Websphere, etc.) and Java Swing for the presentation layer. This architecture enables you to obtain the scalability and availability required for an enterprise class system.
Low resources requirements, clustering, scalable
With more than 6 years of history in medium and large enterprise environments, Capone Banking evolved with each version, reaching a high level of optimization while having multiple new features. For up to 100 users and up to 1 million cases the system performance is guaranteed to perform very well using common hardware resources: standard (Intel or AMD) quad processor servers with 4-8 GB of memory (the storage requirement depends on the history/logging requirements).
Standard core-systems interface, easy to implement
In order to have a fast and smooth development of the interfaces with core systems we provide a specification document (guidelines) that helps the client’s IT team to easily develop extracts necessary for the core interfaces. We are proud to say that our specifications were flexible enough to be used in all our implementations.
Runs on any platform
By using pure Java for the middle-tier and client GUI we assured that the system can run on any hardware and operating system. Also, Oracle Database 10g is certified on multiple OS/hardware platforms.
Easy to deploy
On the Application Server, the deployment is made using standard .EAR files; depending on the type of server used, the deployment can be made with or without server restart.
For the Database server we provide easy to use scripts for system installation and updates.
On the client we only require installation of JRE (java runtime – already existing on most computers): the Capone Banking client installation and all other updates are made automatically using Java Webstart (the latest client version is automatically downloaded and installed from the server), no deployment or installation is necessary on the client computer.
